This dredging consisted of maintenance dredging work that Dravo S.A. has now been carrying out for several years. The works consist of using the WID method to dredge the inner docks and the port mouth and approach.
Using this method allowed all the work to be done swiftly and conveniently, with no need to remove any pontoons to do the dredging work.
